Blake Cogar, Jr. Harold Blake Cogar, Jr. 53, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in McDowell County on July 25, 1959, a son of Harold Blake "Pete" Cogar Sr. and the late Patricia (Quisenberry) Cogar.

In his earlier years, Blake had worked at the former Orioles Club in Fairmont for Louie Ribel.

He was a 1979 graduate of East Fairmont High School and a Methodist by Faith. He was a railroad buff and avid collector of juke boxes and records and he enjoyed traveling, especially by car.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Melanie Ann Devericks and her husband Gary of Smyrna, TN, loving niece and nephews, Michael Schwartz, Megan Schwartz, Matthew Schwartz, Mark Schwartz and Brian Devericks as well as many friends.
