Michelle Lynette Linn, 56, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday (April 12, 2018).

She was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, on April 30, 1961, a daughter of Mary J. (Bable) Sapp of Fairmont and the late Eugene "Windy" Sapp.

She was a graduate of East Fairmont High School, Class of 1979. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She also enjoyed camping at Mount Storm Lake, gardening, craft fairs, reading and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Randy Lee Linn; a son, Adam Linn and his wife Heather of Fairmont; a daughter, Rachel Streets and her husband Adam of Reedsville; two sisters and their spouses, Diane and Robert Smith, of Fairmont, and Shannon and Charles Cumpston, of Channelview, Texas; her mother-in-law, Anna Lee Linn, of Fairmont, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Eugene "Red" Linn.

Friends and family will be received from 3-8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at the Linn Family Cemetery on Glady Creek.
