Pamela Faulkiner (Bombard) - Class Of 1978

Pamela Dawn Faulkiner Bombard, 53, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday evening in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, after a short battle with multiple myeloma.

She was born July 21, 1960, in Fort Knox, Ky., daughter of Jerry Faulkiner and his wife Yvonne and the late Edith Jacqueline Hart Faulkiner.

Being a Protestant, Pamela truly believed in “walking in faith, not in sight.” She was a 1978 graduate of East Fairmont High School in Fairmont. She presently was employed with the Department of Homeland Security in Clarksburg, with 13 years of service. She was earlier employed in the Marion County 911 Center.

Pamela enjoyed her children and their family activities. She loved spending time with family and friends by her pool. Pamela loved reading. She enjoyed obtaining knowledge.

Additional survivors include a son, Jonathan Harris and his girlfriend Amanda Eddy of Fairmont; two daughters, Jessica Harris Snelson and her husband Bobby of Fairmont, and Jade Bombard of Fairmont; two brothers, Michael Faulkiner and his partner Jeffrey Carpenter of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brian Faulkiner of Fairmont; two nieces, Madoline Eddy and Kate Kines of Marion County; and several cousins in Delaware.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Lynne Kines.

She enjoyed her pets, Bailey Jo and Dominic.

Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, from 3-8 p.m. today and noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Sunday, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Tom Shepard officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery and Mausoleum in Fairmont.
